WHAT CAN A WEEK DO OR NOT DO? If you ever wondered, now you can know it all. feel free to ask questions on any subject.
Please read this whole list if you are ever planning on creating a week character in any shape or form.
The facts are simply stated and if they don't seem to fit well in where they are placed just ignore it, it fits in one way or another.
Weeks can do this:
#1.) Weeks can literally slow or speed time up around them, or in their own person. Meaning that if someone is about to punch them, they can slow time down for themselves in all their senses and block the punch faster then the attacker can even see.
#2.) Weeks can sense life all around them. Rather it is a person, animal, car, tree or a rock of some kind, they are meant to set balance to life and when something is going right or wrong they can feel it and must act accordingly.
#3.) Weeks are extremely weakened when someone they were close to dies. They will become very ill and probably won't be able to move for a few days depending on how close the person was who died. If another week dies and can take years for one of them to recover fully.
#4.) Weeks all possess the same amount of energy. Meaning that none of them are 'better' or more powerful then the others, (( only trained more or perhaps what you want to call 'street-wise.' If they want to become better then their group, they have to do it physically through normal work-outs like regular people, but their energy levels never get any higher. )) It is in their blood to work together so if one was always going to be more powerful then the rest, it would cause fighting and then disrupt the flow of balance thus ultimately defeat their very purpose.
#5.) Weeks are stronger together. Since they are not designed to be apart when they are separated they become weaker and aren't as in-tune with the balance of life around them. When they are close to the others, though, they can sense things faster, longer and from a much further distance then the when they are alone.
#6.) Weeks also get sick when some kind of evil force or source is close to them. It is like an alarm and the pain or illness they feel is supposed to help them close in on their target and get rid of what is hurting them.
#7.) If a week has more then one child the oldest is always the next week, but the other children are allowed to fight them (( to the death )) for the role as the next week in their family line if they want.
-------
Weeks can't do this:
#1.) Weeks aren't supposed to have more then one child, if they do they are either supposed to kill them or keep them from fighting with the other. But if the younger child wants to take on the week role, you must let them fight to the death for the place.
#2.) Weeks can't really kill each other. They can hurt one another but in the long run it causes them to hurt as well. Since they are like balance itself, when they wound one of their week brothers that balance they are set off and it causes them to be wounded as well.
But for them nothing is impossible and there are many times throughout history they have tried to murder each other, again and again, but something like that rarely ever happens because their own bodies take over and stop them from throwing life off course.
#3.) Weeks can't just refuse to do what they were born to do. They become overly emotional and unhappy after a long enough time, wanting back what they were before and going for it every chance they get.
#4.) Weeks can't change which week type they are. If a week is a Tuesday they can't change to a Thursday. It is unheard of and altogether impossible.
#5.) Weeks can't change who is in charge for the most part. Wednesday is nearly always in control, followed in the off-chance by Monday or Tuesday. The rest are designed to be followers and fighters for all their leader's goal, which should be balance in life.
#6.) A Week can't get involved with another week. Marriage is forbidden amongst their own kinds, and really it is discouraged all around. Weeks in history were given Temple servant woman who were chosen for them by their trainers to birth their children for the next generation of weeks. Being married to them wasn't important.
#7.) For the longest time women weren't even allowed to be weeks, until around the early 80's when women started to really claim their own Independence and the brutal way of life from before (( where any daughters born first were killed )) was choked out of them as the world around them changed.
#8.) All weeks who take their place in their type have to actually be weeks. It is impossible for someone posing or artificial to take on their role as a protector of balance and any rats who do will be slaughtered in seconds.
